Each time we venture to a new breakfast venue, we rate our experience in seven different categories: coffee quality, food quality, quality of service, wait time, cost, menu variety, and overall satisfaction. These categories, rated on a scale of 1-10 (1 being “I’m never going back there you can’t make me” and 10 being “I’m the most breakfast-satisfied I’ve ever been right now”), are averaged into a final 1-10 score, which is used to rank all of the venues in comparison to each other. We also make note of the parking situation and the distance from our home, but these are not factored into the overall ranking score.
Confused about this super complicated, but equally awesome rating system? Read on to see it in action and I think you’ll catch on pretty quickly (if not, you should, ’cause it’s really not that hard, people).
